約230ｍにわたって植えられている22本のクスノキ並木は、旧高等工業学校の校庭に植樹されたもので、ここで被爆しました。このように多数の並木が被爆したままの状態で残されているのは大変貴重なものです。
A boulevard of 22 camphor trees stretching across 230 meters were planted inside the grounds of the former Hiroshima Technical High School, and it is here that they survived the bombing. This is an extremely rare example of multiple trees remaining in their original condition after the bombing.
